The total number of students applied for NEET 2017 all over India is 11.38 lakhs out of which 88,881 students are from Tamil Nadu.
The survey of the successive year (2018) showed an amplified registrations with 13,26,725 students all over India in which the contribution of TamilNadu students account for nearly 8.1% with 1.07 lakh applicants.This year with an increase of 14.4% registrations , the total number of students enrolled for NEET 2019 all over India reaches 15.19 and Tamil Nadu with its 1.40 lakhs Medical aspirants secures third place to have an innumerable applicants.
From the above data, the intensification of number of Medical aspirants each year is evident.But the ironical part is the gradual increase in the MBBS seats in Government Colleges.
In 2018, 1.07 lakhs students of Tamil Nadu competed for 2900 MBBS merit seats in 22 colleges. The ratio proves the tough competition.
Each year the competition is getting tougher.
This year it will be arduous with many ardent Medical aspirants in pursuit of their goal , their only goal, "TO BECOME A DOCTOR".
